Message from the President

Thank you very much for your constant kind and generous support.

At the Kyohokai General Assembly held on April 10, our company was appointed as the Chair Company of the Kyohokai. Being entrusted with this important role is entirely thanks to the support of our suppliers—who steadfastly sustain the manufacturing of our company and the Kojima Group on the front lines—and all stakeholders who continue to walk with us. We would like to express our heartfelt appreciation. At the same time, we keenly feel the great responsibility and mission we have assumed.

In my remarks at the General Assembly, I expressed our determination to take the lead and devote our full efforts—just as our predecessors did in the formative years of the Kyohokai, when Toyota and its suppliers worked together for the future of Japan. Even in today’s challenging times, we will transcend boundaries of function and position and, as like-minded partners with the aspiration to create a new automotive industry, push forward together.

On April 13, we held a Supplier Meeting, where we directly conveyed our daily gratitude and reported my appointment as Kyohokai Chair to representatives from 168 supplier companies gathered from across Japan. Through this meeting, we reaffirmed and shared our resolve to embrace change without fear and to continue taking on bold challenges.

On the 20th of this month, our company will celebrate its 88th anniversary. I would like the anniversary ceremony to be an opportunity for each and every employee to pledge to think for themselves, act decisively, and shape the future. Precisely because the outlook is uncertain, we will continue to take on challenges and build growth, and we will steadily advance toward our 90th and 100th anniversaries.
