September 2026 Message

Thank you very much for your constant kind and generous support.

September 1 is Japan’s national Disaster Prevention Day. This year, the 2026 Kumamoto Earthquake occurred in July, and it continues to affect the lives of many residents. We sincerely hope that recovery and reconstruction proceed as fast as possible, and that all those affected by the disaster may once again have peaceful daily lives.

To ensure we can act calmly and appropriately in an emergency, we believe that regular training is essential. While we regularly confirm evacuation routes and review safety status reporting procedures, on September 1 we will conduct an evacuation drill to reconfirm these actions in practice. This year in particular, we will focus on reconfirming the division of roles within our self-defense firefighting organization. By sharing the specific roles and actions each person is expected to perform, we will ensure that life-saving actions are thoroughly implemented.

This month is also Information Security Enhancement Month. In recent years, threats such as phishing emails that exploit AI have been on the rise, and their methods have become so sophisticated that they are difficult to distinguish from legitimate communications. Cyberattacks not only target system vulnerabilities but also increasingly use methods that exploit human psychology and lapses in judgment. To protect our organization from these threats, it is crucial for every employee to possess the correct knowledge and a high level of awareness.

In light of this situation, we are striving to improve the knowledge, awareness, and judgment of every employee by working on enhancing information security awareness through ongoing education, comprehension tests, and targeted email response training.
Preparing for natural disasters and maintaining robust information security are critical responsibilities that underpin the trust we receive from our customers, suppliers, and local communities. We will continue to advance our initiatives to ensure that every employee maintains a high level of awareness regarding safety and crisis management.
I am grateful for your continued understanding and support as we strive to be a company you can trust. We intend to strengthen our corporate structure through the hard work of each employee, and devote ourselves to achieving “harmony” with our families and local communities.
