Message from the President

The first half of this year has come and gone. Production and sales of automobiles are maintaining their major trend toward recovery, thanks to the leadership of our customers and to the united efforts of the supply chain and other related locations.
My sense is that the environment surrounding us has already moved into a new “post-COVID” phase, with efforts being made to recover from the pandemic and to realize carbon neutrality. To ensure that we are not left behind by these changes, we will further speed up all of our activities aimed at the mobility of the future.

This month is also Safety Awareness Month. Kojima has long engaged in manufacturing from a position of Safety First, Quality Second, and Productivity Third, based on our belief that a safe workplace will naturally lead to higher quality and productivity.
At a time when many new work styles, new types of work, and non-constant work are being created, we must never allow safety to be sacrificed. All our employees will re-examine our attitudes and actions once more and push forward in our cultivation of a greater culture of safety.
