Message from the President


June 2022 Message

Thank you for your continued patronage and support.
As previously notified on this site, as the final stage of the total overhaul of our corporate website, we are now working on the reinforcement and gradual updating of our information security. We apologize for inconveniencing everyone for so long, but ask for your understanding for a little while longer.

Recently, in March, we were recognized as a Certified Health & Productivity Management Outstanding Organization 2022, for the first time in two years.
We see this as an acknowledgement of the initiatives to promote health that we have been promoting in the spirit of our corporate philosophy of “people-centered management” and our long-term theme of “We train and protect people.” The starting point of our corporate activities is “people,” and the physical and mental health of each and every one of our employees is the single most important asset that supports our management. Going forward, we will further promote the creation of workplaces in which our employees, their families, and their associates can all work with energy and vigor.

In our main business, our business activities of last fiscal year, we were honored to receive the Excellence in Cost Improvement Award, Excellence in Quality Control Award, and SSA Promotion Award from Toyota Motor Corporation, the Quality Control Excellence Award and Environmental Promotion Award from Hino Motors, Ltd., and the Cost Improvement Award from Toyota Auto Body Co., Ltd.
Further, in the project awards for the new model BEV, “bz4X,” which was launched last month, our radiator guide was recognized in the Cost category.
These achievements owe much to the guidance of our customers and the cooperation of our suppliers, and I would like to thank them all sincerely. We will continue to raise the standard of our safety and quality activities even further, so we may continue to offer new value, united as Team Kojima.

In April, we welcomed 20 new graduate recruits to Kojima Corporation and 105 across the whole of the Kojima Group. The entire organization intends to support our new recruits so that they may play an active role in our operations as soon as possible. It is also my earnest hope that the flexible ideas of these young people will inspire their senior colleagues and lead to their mutual growth.

Last month, our company marked the 84th anniversary of its foundation. I would like to express my deep appreciation to our stakeholders that have supported us over the years, and to our founder and predecessors who built up the foundations of our company, all of whom have helped us to achieve this milestone.
Over these 84 years, our predecessors have overcome many trials and tribulations with great wisdom and effort.
As we carry on their efforts, all of us working for Kojima will combine our strengths to ensure that we continue to offer new value as an indispensable presence in the mobility society of the future.

I am grateful for your continued understanding and support as we strive to be a company you can trust. We intend to strengthen our corporate structure through the hard work of each employee, and devote ourselves to achieving “harmony” with our families and local communities.
