October 2022 Message

Once a year, we hold the Kojima Festival, an in-house event where employees of All-Kojima and their families gather to interact and get to know each other better. For the past two years of the pandemic, we tried a new format by holding a virtual festival online.
This year, we held some parts of the festival in person. In so doing, we were able to evolve the festival into an event for the new era, blending the real and the virtual worlds.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone in the regional governments and various companies who extended so much cooperation, such as setting up booths at the festival and offering various classes for parents and children.

With restrictions on the number of attendees, thorough measures to prevent infection, and other constraints, we cannot yet say that we have fully returned to pre-pandemic times. Even so, after seeing the happy, lively faces of our employees and their families, especially small children, I feel as though we have all been able to sense the meaning in trying new ways of doing things and the outcomes.

On the 3rd of this month, we held a ceremony to welcome next year’s new graduate recruits to the Kojima family, and I took the opportunity to say a few words to them.
Our new recruits for the past few years have had to forego many things due to the pandemic, but that experience has not been entirely negative. It has also given them the invaluable experience of forging a new path from scratch.
I am already filled with excited anticipation at the thought that, when they join us next spring, the freshness and special experiences that these new recruits will bring will greatly inspire their senior colleagues and lead to the mutual growth of new and veteran employees alike.

I am grateful for your continued understanding and support as we strive to be a company you can trust. We intend to strengthen our corporate structure through the hard work of each employee, and devote ourselves to achieving “harmony” with our families and local communities.
