Message from the President

With only a week or so remaining, this year is almost over.

Back in February, the failure of the Company’s IT system caused many of you a great deal of inconvenience and concern.
At the same time, we also received tremendous support and encouragement for the restoration of the system from so many related parties, not least being Toyota Motor Corporation, and that gave me a renewed and powerful sense of the bonds we all share with each other.
Since then, we have been working to rebuild our information security framework, implement countermeasures, and develop our people as we strive to prevent any recurrences and strengthen our BCP. We will continue to work hard to ensure that this incident will lead to opportunities for our further growth.

Another major event this year was the announcement at an exhibition of “Ma’mold,” our first ever product in a field outside automotive parts. Demonstration trials and partner development are now underway. While we have been creating new value for society, this year has also been a year in which each and every employee has been able to sense their growth.

As changes in society and mobility pick up pace, we will push forward with further transformations next year so that we can contribute value to society and to our customers and continue to be a needed as a company.

Finally, I would like to take this opportunity to express my profound appreciation to all for your support and kindness throughout this year. I hope you will all spend the last days of the year in good health.
