February 2023 Message

The situation with COVID-19 and influenza transmission is still very serious. We will continue to be thorough in our measures to prevent transmission, to protect the health of our families and colleagues. It is my earnest hope that you will all continue to stay healthy.

A year has passed since the network disruption that occurred in February last year. At the time, while we caused great inconvenience and concern to our customers and other related parties, thanks to offers of aid from various quarters and wonderful, wide-ranging assistance, we were able to restore the system quickly. I would like to reiterate my thanks for that assistance.

The bonds that were forged with those who extended a helping hand in our times of trouble and shared the experience with us are our treasured assets. We will continue to cherish those bonds and, in doing so, we hope that you will see an even stronger Team Kojima.

In the year since the incident, we have undertaken various measures to ensure that such a situation will never be repeated, but as the months and years pass, memories will fade. Taking this opportunity to recall the struggles that we felt at that time, we will make sure that the experience does not fade, further strengthen our awareness and thoroughly implement internal countermeasures.

I am grateful for your continued understanding and support as we strive to be a company you can trust. We intend to strengthen our corporate structure through the hard work of each employee, and devote ourselves to achieving “harmony” with our families and local communities.
