April 2023 Message
A new fiscal year has started, and we have been joined by our new graduate recruits.
As I listened to these fresh, young recruits, with their hearts full of hope, introduce themselves and make pledges toward the future, I realized that it was important that those of us on the welcoming side convey to them properly the significance, objectives, and skills of our work so that these new forces can play an active part in our company as soon as possible. At the same time, I also think that we need to make this an opportunity to reflect on ourselves and, by envisaging our future goals and visions, connect them to further growth and challenges.
In the labor-management discussions this spring, in addition to the usual talk of wages and work styles, we held discussions on a wide range of topics, from the growth and skills improvement of our employees to work styles and social contribution.
We will continue to hold these kinds of discussions and undertake productive initiatives to enhance the value of the company’s presence in the future and create an environment and workplace culture in which employees can work energetically and comfortably.
Amid greatly changing demands being placed on companies by society, we must also pursue DX further to create new value for the mobility society of the future. Change is also progressing within the company, and I will continue to provide active support to our employees and to DX promotion activities to encourage further challenge.
