June 2023 Message

Last month, our company marked the 85th anniversary of its foundation.
I am certain that, in the 15 years from now until our centennial, change will happen at a faster pace than ever before.

During those years, I imagine that we ourselves will face many situations where we will find it difficult to know what to do. At such times, it will be important for us to return to our corporate philosophy and principles and use them to guide our work. These anniversaries have become an important milestone and opportunity to share that thought with everyone in the company.

This month is Environment Month as designated by the Ministry of the Environment. At All-Kojima, we are promoting a variety of environmental initiatives, focusing on the three pillars of “carbon-free society,” “recycling-oriented society,” and “society in harmony with nature” to realize our KOJIMA Environmental Challenge 2050. We have a corporate culture of energy-saving activities that has inherited our founder’s teachings of “making use of the old” and “completing the life of things.” However, for us to achieve the lofty goals that society demands of us, we must generate innovative technologies with new perspectives and ideas in all of our manufacturing work, from the development of materials to design, work process development, manufacture, and logistics.

United as one, all Kojima employees will constantly think about what challenges we can take on in our work, take action, and push boldly forward to become a company that is able to contribute to the environment of the future.

I am grateful for your continued understanding and support as we strive to be a company you can trust. We intend to strengthen our corporate structure through the hard work of each employee, and devote ourselves to achieving “harmony” with our families and local communities.
