Message from the President

Toyota Motor Corporation and TOYOTA AUTO BODY CO., LTD. have presented Kojima with a project award in the technology category for the super-long overhead console fitted in the new Alphard and Vellfire models that first rolled off the production line in June. We were also presented with an award in the cost category for the scrapping of components by converting the air guide to a block construction.

In connection with the new-model Lexus LM, Toyota Motor Corporation presented us with an award in the technology category for the use of spattering for expression of copper color.

In conjunction with our customers’ transformation into mobility companies, we introduced a Business Domain Headquarters structure in 2021. In the Interior Business Domain in particular, we have set our sights on manufacturing for the creation of interior products that takes advantage of the combination of All-Kojima’s technologies and our organizational capabilities. My sense is that our success in creating the award-winning super-long overhead console has been the first step in this transformation.

These achievements owe much to the guidance of our customers and the support of our suppliers, and I would like to thank them all sincerely. To keep contributing to the mobility society of the future, united as Team Kojima, we will engage in competitive manufacturing so we may continue to offer new value.
