Message from the President

Thank you very much for your constant kind and generous support.

The 2025 Toyota Suppliers Convention took place on February 21.
Representing Team Kojima, Kojima Industries Corporation had the honor of receiving three prestigious awards, namely, for Superior Cost Improvement, Excellence in Cost Improvement for 45 Consecutive Years, and Excellence in SSA Promotion.
We are grateful that we have been awarded Excellence in Cost Improvement for 45 Consecutive Years because we have continued to pursue the idea of making good products cheaply through trial and error based on the concepts of “completing the life of things” and “making use of the old,” which have been handed down from generation to generation since the company’s founding.

The history of our predecessors’ challenges over the past 85 years is also a history of the solid bonds we have built with Toyota Motor Corporation and the support of our suppliers.
This achievement owes much to the warm guidance of our customers and the cooperation of our suppliers, and I would like to thank them all sincerely.

While we would like to continue to strive for such honorable recognition in the future, it is also true that we will never be able to compete with overseas manufacturers in cost competitiveness if we merely follow the same path as previous cost improvement activities.
We will continue to work as Team Kojima to strengthen collaboration in manufacturing technology utilizing elemental technologies, promote digital technology, and reform processes in order to contribute to Toyota Motor Corporation’s multi-pathway strategy and manufacturing reform to cut the number of processes in half.
