Message from the President
April 2025 Message
Thank you very much for your constant kind and generous support.
Today, April 1, as we enter the new fiscal year, we have been joined by 34 new graduate recruits.
These new employees are joining us amidst a competitive environment that includes the promotion of electrification and carbon neutrality in the automotive industry. In my message to them at the entrance ceremony, I encouraged them to share their opinions with confidence, bringing fresh perspectives and approaches that are not bound by conventional thinking. Together with our new colleagues, we will seize this opportunity to reexamine from scratch our approach to work and work styles, to take us into the future.
In other news, our Kojima Garden in the Obara district of Toyota City received certification from the Ministry of the Environment as a Nationally Certified Sustainably Managed Natural Site (late 2024).
The land for Kojima Garden was acquired in Toyota City’s Obara district in 1968, and Kojima employees played the major role in its development ever since. Over the past 60 years or so, our people have maintained and managed the satoyama (traditional rural landscape), making continuous improvements that harness the site’s rich natural surroundings. Even today, the Garden continues to evolve.
This certification is a significant recognition of these many years of effort. I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to our predecessors and seniors and to the experts who have given so generously of their passionate guidance.
The cherry blossoms will soon be in full bloom.
I look forward to enjoying the richness of nature alongside our employees again this year when we all visit Kojima Garden.
