May 2025 Message

Thank you very much for your constant kind and generous support.

On April 15, we held this year’s Suppliers Meeting, bringing together 168 All-Kojima suppliers from throughout Japan. During the meeting, we commended suppliers for their achievements in cost, quality, and productivity, and shared the direction, ideas, and activities that we will aim for together in the future.

Recently, we are facing uncertain times that no one has ever experienced before, including the imposition of reciprocal tariffs by the United States. What we need to do, together with our suppliers, is to improve the workplace environment and work style by thoroughly eliminating waste through the implementation of TPS and the use of digital tools, to create a corporate culture that takes on challenges, and to build a robust structure that can withstand such an external environment.
In that respect, by further strengthening our bonds with our suppliers, who have their own proprietary technologies and many insights, we will aim to improve the manufacturing competitiveness of the entire supply chain of Team Kojima.

In addition, on the 20th of this month, our company will mark the 87th anniversary of its foundation.
Our company’s manufacturing originated 87 years ago when the founder and his associates took on the challenge of moving from the manufacture of household hardware to the unknown automotive industry.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank our customers, suppliers, and local communities who have supported us over the years, as well as our predecessors and seniors who have built the foundation of our company, and to pledge to contribute to the mobility society by carving out the future with all our employees through great challenges and growth.

I am grateful for your continued understanding and support as we strive to be a company you can trust. We intend to strengthen our corporate structure through the hard work of each employee, and devote ourselves to achieving “harmony” with our families and local communities.
