Message from the President
June 2025 Message
Thank you very much for your constant kind and generous support.
Last month, our company marked the 87th anniversary of its foundation.
At the ceremony to commemorate the occasion, I had the privilege of presenting 215 employees with awards for long service. The event was also an opportunity to express our gratitude to our predecessors and senior colleagues who built the foundations of our business and to share among all employees our pledge to pave the way toward the future with our own hands. It is thanks to your continued support that we are able to commemorate this new milestone. I would like to extend my sincerest appreciation to you all once more.
This month is Environment Month as designated by the Ministry of the Environment.
Since our foundation, we have continued our activities to protect environmental resources based on the concept of “Taking good care of things and making good use of them.” The origin of the company’s business is that our founder received scrap iron from customers to start manufacturing products. Our commitment to plastics recycling technology, of which we had no knowledge in the 1990s, enabled us to establish a bumper recycling business, and we have continued to take on the challenge of creating value for the world while carrying on the DNA we have inherited since our foundation.
However, against the backdrop of the recent escalation of environmental problems caused by increasing resource consumption and waste, we feel that we will not be able to contribute to the circular economy by continuing our activities in the same way as before. Therefore, we need activities that play a role in the circular economy in consistent manufacturing, from materials development to product development, parts manufacturing, and logistics.
By making more proactive proposals than ever before across the Kojima Group, we will contribute to the creation of new value for our customers, suppliers, and the entire supply chain connected to industries that turn waste into reusable resources.
