Thank you very much for your constant kind and generous support.

Recently, changes in the global regulatory environment are having a major impact on our automotive industry. While a 15% tariff on automobiles has been agreed on in the United States, cost pressures are expected to persist.

Under these circumstances, our most valued customer has announced its ongoing commitment to “maintaining domestic production of three million units a year” and the ongoing pursuit of “mass-producing happiness through mobility.”　
This is not something that can be achieved by our customer’s efforts alone. I have realized anew that we suppliers must work in unison with the customer and continue to make even further efforts.

In Europe as well, due to the revision of ELV rules, the use of recycled plastics has been made compulsory, requiring responses from the design stage.

Recently, recycled plastic derived from automotive shredder residue (ASR), manufactured by PLANIC, a company established in 2018 through a joint investment between Toyota Tsusho Corporation and one of our Group companies, Kojima Sangyo Co., Ltd., was adopted by our customer in Japan for the first time for use on the front fender seal of one of its vehicles.
