Message from the President

Happy New Year.
Thank you very much for your constant kind and generous support.

Last year was a year of great transformation for the automotive industry. As the shift toward electrification accelerated even further and electric and hybrid vehicles became more widespread, the digitalization of automobiles entered full swing. In addition, rising international trade frictions and increasingly stringent environmental regulations have made the strengthening of supply chain resilience and the adoption of sustainable materials key challenges.

Amid such changes in the environment and as our customers speed up their transformation into mobility companies, we adopted “Group-wide collaboration” as our mantra. We further strengthened collaboration between companies, between divisions, and between business domains and leveraged the resources of All-Kojima to the maximum extent in our efforts toward the development of new products and the creation of new value.

As one outcome of those efforts, in December last year, we received three awards in the cost category and one award in the technology category from Toyota Motor Corporation for the new-model RAV4.

In the technology category, recycled plastic derived from automotive shredder residue (ASR) manufactured by PLANIC, a company established through a joint investment between Toyota Tsusho Corporation and one of our Group companies, Kojima Sangyo Co., Ltd., was adopted for use in the new model’s floor undercovers. The award was in recognition of product development using sustainable materials and our manufacturing capabilities.

Through this initiative, we are promoting car-to-car recycling, making our own small contribution to the circular economy and the sustainable advancement of the automotive industry. This something that gives us great pride. I would like to express our heartfelt appreciation to Toyota Motor Corporation and to our suppliers for their extensive support.

I want us to make 2026 another year in which, together with our suppliers, overseas alliance partners, and all employees of All-Kojima, we demonstrate our technological strengths and manufacturing capabilities to the full and make a powerful leap toward the future with a sense of speed.
