March 2026 Message

Thank you very much for your constant kind and generous support.

We are currently building a new plant in Toyohashi City, our fourth in-house production plant, following the Shimoichiba, Takaoka, and Kurozasa Plants. Recently, we held an event to present the completion of the first stage of construction. This gave us an invaluable opportunity to convey directly to our guests Kojima’s vision for manufacturing.

Taking advantage of the new plant’s location as the closest plant to the Tahara Plant of our valued customer, Toyota Motor Corporation, we will build a faster, more flexible supply framework and strive to strengthen our manufacturing competitiveness, including by shortening lead times. We are also preparing to make the new plant a model plant of the future, the goal of All-Kojima, by adopting the cutting-edge technologies in our arsenal. We are committed to making continued efforts to deliver new value beyond our customer’s expectations.

In mid-February, the spring labor-management negotiations began. We are holding deep discussions not only on wages and bonuses, but also on employees’ growth and skills advancement, as well as new work styles.

It seems to me that the steady progress that has been made with labor and management working as one is gradually beginning to take shape. However, the environment surrounding us is the harshest that it has ever been, as we face changes in social circumstances and the structural transformation of the automotive industry. It is precisely in such times that each and every one of us must hold a healthy sense of crisis and pride that “we will create our own workplace.”

So that, together, we can create an environment that will allow all employees to demonstrate their skills and spirit of challenge to the full, we will continue to speak from the heart in the discussions between labor and management.

I am grateful for your continued understanding and support as we strive to be a company you can trust. We intend to strengthen our corporate structure through the hard work of each employee, and devote ourselves to achieving “harmony” with our families and local communities.
