July 2026 Message

Thank you very much for your constant kind and generous support.

The one-week period beginning July 1 is National Safety Week, as designated by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare. At Kojima, particularly in recent years, we have been thoroughly pursuing safety activities that address six sources of danger that can lead to serious accidents: pinch and entanglement hazards, heavy objects, vehicles, falls and trips, electric shocks, and heat.

The awareness of safety of our employees is rising year by year, but as long as work is performed by people, it is not easy to achieve zero accidents. That is precisely why we believe it is important for all employees to recognize that safety is not something given to us; it is something each and every one of us creates, and to think and act proactively. This will lead to the realization of workplaces free from accidents.

Based on this thinking, Kojima is working to make potential hazards visible through risk assessments in our administrative and engineering departments as well as our manufacturing departments by identifying risks in each work procedure and considering improvements.

There is no end to safety activities. We will continue to steadily promote the creation of workplaces in which all employees can work with peace of mind and vitality, while fostering a culture where each and every individual notices hazards in daily operations and is able to think and act proactively.
I am grateful for your continued understanding and support as we strive to be a company you can trust. We intend to strengthen our corporate structure through the hard work of each employee, and devote ourselves to achieving “harmony” with our families and local communities.
