Message from the President

Thank you very much for your constant kind and generous support.

Firstly, to those who lost their lives in the 2026 Kumamoto Earthquake that struck on July 28, all those who have been affected by the disaster, and their families, I extend my deepest condolences and my sincerest sympathies. I pray sincerely for the swift recovery and restoration of the quake-affected areas and for the return of safety and peace of mind to the lives of the people affected.

The business environment surrounding us is entering a period of major transformation with the evolution of AI and other digital technologies. We are in an age when past success stories and conventional wisdom no longer apply easily, and unless we keep changing, we will be left behind.
In June, we held the All-Kojima DX Promotion Project Convention, where we reaffirmed the importance of every employee taking ownership of change and maintaining a healthy sense of urgency by continually asking ourselves, “Is what we are doing today truly enough?”

The use of digital technologies is no longer the exclusive domain of certain experts. Just as we all use our smartphones and apps with ease, I believe that it is important that we actively use digital tools in the workplace on a daily basis to improve business processes and create value. I would also like us to consider AI not merely as a support tool, but as a partner. I hope that by leveraging AI for routine tasks and data analysis, and enabling our people to focus on identifying challenges, making decisions, and engaging in creative activities, we will be able to enhance our competitiveness.
